Gallatin, Missouri, is a close-knit community with a rich history and a strong sense of hometown pride. Located along the Grand River in northwest Missouri, Gallatin was established in 1837 as the county seat of the newly formed Daviess County. The town was named after Albert Gallatin, a prominent statesman who served as Secretary of the Treasury under Presidents Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. From its earliest days, Gallatin served as an important center for the surrounding agricultural community, with settlers, merchants, farmers, and families helping the town grow into the community it is today. Gallatin's early history was also shaped by the westward movement and the rapid settlement of northern Missouri.
Today, Gallatin remains a welcoming community where families value their schools, local businesses, neighbors, and traditions. The historic courthouse square and landmarks such as the Daviess County Squirrel Cage Jail serve as reminders of the generations who helped shape the community, while local parks, community organizations, and family events continue to bring people together. We’re proud to serve the families of Gallatin and the surrounding Daviess County area. For us, orthodontic care is about more than creating beautiful, healthy smiles—it’s about getting to know our patients, supporting local families, and helping children, teens, and adults feel confident in their smiles. We’re honored to be part of a community with such a deep history and to play a small part in helping Gallatin’s next generation smile with confidence.
